Sherkston Shores Family Beach Resort is located in Canada, ½ hour to Niagara Falls, 1 ½ hours to Toronto, and ½ hour to the USA city of Buffalo New York. The resort is a 560 acre gated family vacation community that offers most outdoor activities. Bookings are available May-Oct. The resort includes park model RV cottages / summer homes, RV sites, rustic cabins / bunkies, tent camping spots, and the Pleasant Beach Campground.
- The resort is located on Lake Erie in Canada and has 2 ½ acres of beautiful sandy beaches, Elco Beach, Wyldewood Beach and Sunset Beach. Jet ski/boat launches are located at Elco and Wyldewood beaches. The shipwreck is a great place for fishing and scuba diving and is a popular spot for canoers, kayakers and jet skiers to visit. Hobie cat catamarans, sailing, jet skiing, paddle boarding, swimming, boating are just a few of the activities on Lake Erie. Stunning sunsets spent on the beach feel like heaven.
- The 27 acre Quarry Lake has a beautiful sandy beach, rentals of water trikes, paddle boats, kayaks, paddle boards, wakeboarding, a Splash n Go Adventure Park, fishing gear and more. This is a favorite place to use blow-up floaties! Scuba divers enjoy the 100 year old mining equipment at the bottom of the lake. From the end of June to the beginning of September free outdoor movie nights as well as fireworks are held at the Quarry Beach.
- The WaterPark has three Mach3 giant waterslides, 2 heated swimming pools, a kids splashpad, kiddie shallow pool, hot tub, lounge chairs, giant checker & chess boards, as well access to “The FROZEN SUN” Tiki Bar. Purchase a separate all-day, or multiple all-day WaterPark pass at the resort office.
- The FunPlex is home to the Getaway Bar & Grill, The Alcove Live Entertainment, arcade, kids activities and live-band entertainment.
- The onsite Sherkston supermarket includes a fresh baked daily bakery, wine & beer store, Cafe Express, laundromat.
- Don’t forget to bring your sports gear to use on the tennis courts, basketball courts, pickleball courts, ball hockey, at the kids skate park. Or attend the tai chi on the beach, yoga, zumba or fitness boot camps. Twice weekly farmers and crafts market during July & August. Many food trucks are onsite.
- Hike/jog/bike 560 acres at the resort or get on the longer nearby Friendship Trail to go to the towns of Port Colborne or Fort Erie. Fort Erie is located at the Peace Arch crossing to the Canada/USA border town of Buffalo New York.
- Riding on the lifted golf cart that is included in your rental is a fun activity as well as a way to explore the 560 acre resort.
